Children living in the following areas attend Southern Tioga Schools: Putnam Township, Morris Township, Rutland Township, Ward Township, Liberty Township, Roseville Borough, Blossburg Borough, Liberty Borough, Mansfield Borough, Covingtown Township, Jackson Township, Sullivan Township, Hamilton Township, Cogan House Township, Richmond Township, Bloss Township.The professional staff of Southern Tioga School District consists of 250 full-time and part-time members.  Each of our two high schools and three elementary schools receives instructional support from certified principals, school counselors, and school health personnel.  Qualified secretaries, papaprofessionals, custodians and cafeteria personnel are active members of the educational program in STSD.

In the Southern Tioga School District, we cherish the value of education, family and community, knowing that our children are the future of our vibrant, close-knit towns.

Spanning 485 square miles across southeastern Tioga and northeastern Lycoming Counties, our district is home to thriving communities like Blossburg, with its rich history and welcoming atmosphere, the stunning landscapes and peaceful farmlands of Liberty, and the vibrant college town of Mansfield, home to the Commonwealth University.

Our residents enjoy easy access to essential services, including healthcare and professional resources, while higher education opportunities are right at our doorstep with Commonwealth University and Pennsylvania College of Technology. The district's prime location also puts us just a short drive from city life of Corning and Elmira, New York, and Williamsport, Pennsylvania, making it an ideal place to call home.
