Failure to receive a tax notice does not relieve the taxpayer from liability for the prompt payment of taxes imposed by the taxing district. It is the responsibility of the property owner to pay the real estate tax even though they may not have received their tax bill. All annual tax bills are mailed to the last known address of each property owner and can also be found on our website at: www.southerntioga.org
For your convenience, we have made the current year Southern Tioga School District Real Estate tax bills available online. You will need Adobe Reader (or compatible PDF viewer) to view or print them.
To view a copy of your tax bill, click on menu to the left and then click on your municipality. You can scroll through the bills or search for your name (CTRL+F will open a search box in most programs).

Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion: The taxpayer Relief Act provides for property tax reduction allocations to be distributed by the Commonwealth to each school district. Property tax reduction will be through a “Homestead or Farmstead Exclusion”. Generally, most owner-occupied homes and farms are eligible for property tax reduction. Only a primary residence is eligible for property tax relief.
